Improve your Winning odds with this secret.

Daylight Saving Time is a great reminder, huh?  Time, and what it means to us, really is subjective. It’s probably even a different “Time” where you are, than where I am when you are reading this. Time is just an adjustable man-made label and concept we use.

So WHY allow IT to control the progression of your life? Let me explain…

New Year’s is coming up.  Everyone will be making new resolutions, right?  By the time you’re 40 or 50 or 60 years old – you’ve mindfully / verbally  “resolved” that you’d try something new about 30 or 40 or 50 times.

happy new year's - momentumWhat a wasted opportunity! Why not multiply your chances of succeeding to your dreams by a factor of 364! (Look at what just a slight edge in odds does for Las Vegas!) Remember “New Year’s Day” or “What time is it?” – is subjective upon where you are in the world.

Every day that you wake up could be a celebration of a “new year” from that calendar date from last year. Follow? Today starts a new year IF we are to arrange the calendar how WE want. Why just celebrate when someone else tells you to?

What are your best chances TO SEE YOUR DREAMS AND CREATE YOUR LIFE, THE WAY YOU WANT IT?  Limiting to only 40 chances or taking 14,600 chances? Make your best odds.

Best part is – you don’t even have to tell anyone that you’ve already started your New Year’s Resolutions. Then, when Jan and February roll around and they’re whining about not sticking to their resolutions, they’ll be asking you how YOU did it.  You’ll have stuck to at least 2 or 3 or 5 or 10 new resolutions over the next couple months, and they’ll be totally jealous and want to know your secret.   Imagine, now, how those resolutions will be paying off for you after a couple of months of doing it.  Oh yeah!!

Today, celebrate Happy New You’s Day.  Practice activating more of your resolution to get what you want from life.

LIFE expands and calls to you daily – NOT just once a year.

Be willing to go after what you want. Improve your odds and win more from life.

Go ahead, let your tentacles hang out.

Oh how she hated low tide.  At low tides there were those pesky humans, with feet stepping close, and fingers prodding her trying to get her to squirt, or to open up. She was an Anemone that just didn’t like when sea gulls came to peck at the little crabs and shrimp that lived next to her.

Low tide was definitely the pits. It was the best reason to stay wrapped up, secure, and safe. Pulled tightly inward, she could deal with the low tides.

Soon, the tide would come back. But as it did, it began to wash sand and debris against her in a most irritating manner. Why couldn’t it just stay calm and sedate and not be so turbulent? Her abrasive outer skin wrapped her tightly into a little protected furl of a critter, but she could stand against the friction like that. Maybe later the water would be calmer.

Hours later the tide came in all the way. She could smell the scent of predators such as sculpins and sea stars all around her. As long as she could smell them nearby, she stayed shut and protected. She was no fool.

The water would occasionally bring a tiny morsel of food into her barely open mouth cavity, but staying closed is what she did to escape those dangerous predators nearby. Besides, that tide was just too fast, it would have its way with her body if she were to open. No, she’d better play it safe.

Then one day she caught a scent of another nearby, one that was attractive.  She was filled with a desire to open up to see what was out there. She began to unfurl her pebbled protective casing and let her tentacles flow outward.

by Steve JurvetsonHow invigorating it felt! She loved the fresh flow of  water as it supported her. It tickled as it caressed her body and spirit.  Not to mention the food – nutrition was so easily found when open to the Flow. Now she could pick and choose as she discovered so much more nearby.

She looked around. WOW!  She had never seen such gorgeous and vibrant fish and coral.

Looking at herself for the first time, she stopped and realized that even SHE was beautiful. Others came around to see her colors and her abilities. It felt so vibrant and amazing to wave and dance so freely in the water.  She was alive.

Remember that “Stress is just a fearful reaction to life’s constant changes.” as Louise Hay reminds us.

Beauty, Opportunity, Nourishment and Growth –  All kinds of Great things flow past us with the tides of life.  Open up to Life, be your beautiful self and Flow with it. It might just surprise you.
